In 1996, a practicing licensed real estate broker,
after hitting the “highs”
of the real estate profession, tried to venture
in to the sales of quality ladies corporate clothing.
Her name? Cora Villena.
The first years or working with a clothes manufacturing
company proved that no matter where you put a
good salesperson, she will excel. Cora
started marketing these clothes to close friends
until referrals came in. In a year’s time,
Cora has established a good client
base. More years of exposure with clients who
know the value of quality clothing, gave her opportunity
to perfect the art of satisfying and pleasing
her clients. Recognitions and awards have been
consistent scenarios for Cora,
as she gained all these month after month, year
after year, all with her own individual efforts.
In 2001, the manufacturing company closed shop,
which opened the door for Cora
to put up her own. Since her clients clamoured
for new items, she tapped the production staff
left off by the old manufacturer. Then she started
choosing the fabric for each client and began
designing for them. It didn’t take long
before Cora decided to hire her
own skilled and expert cutters and sewers to do
her own designs.
Having a bachelor’s degree
in Communication Arts, and with some training
on Advertising and Marketing, these all helped
in further honing her innate talent and taste
for beauty and elegance.
From the beginning, Cora’s
business philosophy was based on providing exceptional
services to her clients, offering excellent quality
and value for money. Majority of her customers
have been devoted to her works.
